Janet Rosenberg & Studio on team selected for Rockcliffe Lands, Ottawa

Janet Rosenberg & Studio is excited to announce that we have been selected as part of a team led by Brook McIlroy to prepare a master plan for the Rockcliffe Lands, on behalf of the Canada Lands Company (CLC). The 310 acres (125 hectares) site of the former Canadian Forces Base Rockcliffe, with its proximity to Ottawa’s downtown core, represents a unique opportunity to explore sustainable and contemporary ideas of urban design and planning. The CLC mandate for the project is to “develop an exemplary diverse contemporary neighbourhood offering a choice in housing, employment, commercial, institutional and leisure activities which will be defined by the site’s unique setting, along with a commitment to environmental sustainability and long term economic viability.”  For more information on the project please visit:  www.clcrockcliffe.ca
