JRS is Pleased to Welcome Rebecca Martin to the Team!

In September, we welcomed Rebecca Martin to JRS as our new Design Research & Communications Coordinator.

Rebecca recently completed her MLA at the University of Toronto, earning multiple distinctions—including the ASLA Certificate of Honor, the Jules F. Wegman Fellowship, and recognition as a 2024 LAF Olmsted Scholar.

Her thesis, Opaque Ground: Reimagining Human–Soil Relations in the Lower Don, was recently awarded a 2025 ASLA Student Award of Excellence in General Design. Explore the project through the following link.
