JRS Presenting at LABash 2025

JRS Managing Principal Wayne Swanton and Senior Associate Nicholas Gosselin will discuss Kìwekì Point at the 2025 LABash Conference.

Kìwekì Point is a prominent public realm landscape for the National Capital Commission in Ottawa. Recently completed, the project began with the ambitious goal of reconnecting the point with the Ottawa River. During this session, Wayne and Nicholas Gosselin will discuss the initiatives that reshaped this important landscape in the Capital.

LABash Conference is a student-led conference for landscape architecture. Since 1970, the conference has been held in North America by a different landscape architecture program each year and brings hundreds of students and professionals together to learn, network, and help shape the future of the profession.

This year’s conference, Reimagine LABash, celebrates innovation and reimagines the future of landscape architecture in response to emerging technologies, environmental stresses, and climate change.
