Kerrie Harvey joins the Climate Risk Institute’s Professions Advancing Adaptation Competencies Committee

JRS Senior Landscape Architect Kerrie Harvey has been selected to the 2025 Landscape Architecture Subcommittee of the Climate Risk Institute’s Professions Advancing Adaptation Competencies (PAAC) Committee.

The Climate Risk Institute (CRI) works to advance practice and deliver services related to climate change risk assessment, adaptation planning, policy evaluation and resiliency at a national level. The PAAC Committee will assess existing professional competencies and develop recommendations for the introduction of climate change adaptation competencies at a national level. Landscape architects are uniquely positioned to apply climate change tools and communicate the business case for adaptation measures to their clients and target audiences.

Kerrie was also involved with the CSLA Committee on Climate Adaptation’s Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Workgroup from 2023 to 2024. The group works to promote nature-based solutions as a climate solution and liaises with other NbS groups internationally.

Congratulations Kerrie!
