Kìwekì Point Receives the 2026 ASLA Award of Excellence in General Design

We are thrilled to announce that Kìwekì Point – Returning to One’s Homeland has received the 2026 Award of Excellence in the General Design category from the American Association of Landscape Architects (ASLA)!

The Jury described the project as: “Courageous, precise, and deeply considered. A new standard for how landscape architecture can reframe national narratives without erasure.”

This year, 35 projects were selected from 450 entries, representing the highest level of achievement in landscape architecture. We are honoured to see Kìwekì Point recognized alongside so many inspiring projects.
