Jessica Hutcheon brings critical thinking and a holistic approach to every project at JRS. Working at a wide range of scales, from public parks and urban plazas to large scale city-block developments, her expertise is focused on city building and placemaking as a means to improve the quality of life in our urban context.

With extensive experience implementing projects in Toronto, across Canada and internationally, Jessica is currently leading the landscape design of several major urban projects that place a pivotal focus on the public realm. Active in implementing sustainable green practices and technologies in all the firm’s projects, Jessica is an accredited Green Roof Professional who oversees green roof design for JRS. She currently serves on the City of Toronto’s Design Review Panel and is a Professional Reviewer for the OALA’s Professional Development Program.
