Team JRS raises over $7,000 for the Pride & Remembrance Run!

Team JRS was thrilled to participate again in this year’s Toronto Pride & Remembrance Run on June 24, 2023.

We far exceeded our initial goal of $3,000 and raised over $7,000 for the charity event. The annual 5 km fundraising run/walk raises critical funds for Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community charities, who receive 100% of the charitable pledges that are raised. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS), Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP), Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (Buddies), 519 Church Street Community Centre (The 519), and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation. The projects and initiatives that these non-profits are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
