Posted October 27, 2014
The 14th Floor Max Tanenbaum Healing Garden at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is almost finished construction.
Help support The Princess Margaret Margaret Cancer Foundation carry out their mission to Conquer Cancer In Our Lifetime by securing a hand-blown glass flower, each a lasting symbol of hope and healing for patients and their families: http://www.online.thepmcf.ca/healinggarden/
The intent of the Healing Garden is to provide patients fighting cancer, their family members, and the dedicated staff with an uplifting and inspiring garden that references nature, but is comprised entirely of artificial materials. The Studio’s design takes its inspiration from the strong geometry of formal boxwood parterres and incorporates the artistry of hand blown glass flowers. The result is a stylized garden that is tranquil and beautiful through the seasons and day through night.
