JRS raises over $6,700 for the 2024 Pride & Remembrance Run!

JRS was thrilled to participate again in the annual Toronto Pride & Remembrance Run on June 29, 2024. We exceeded our goal of $5,000 and raised over $6,700 for the charity event. JRS was the second-highest corporate fundraiser for this year’s event.

Organized and operated by the Pride and Remembrance Association, the annual 5 km fundraising run/walk raises critical funds for Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community charities, who receive 100% of the charitable pledges that are raised.

The 5 non-profit beneficiaries for this year’s run are:

  • AndThenIWasFree
  • Durham Alliance Outreach
  • Rainbow Faith and Freedom
  • Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA)
  • Pride and Remembrance Foundation

The projects and initiatives that these non-profits are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
