Our design for Markham Centre Park celebrates the city’s urban presence, rural roots, and hi-tech future, and creates a destination gateway near the Rouge River.

The Civic Mall and Rapidway unite the natural world with the urban in the form of a contemporary forest where pedestrians and public transit move between layers of large-caliper trees, while integrating the spill-over of the city’s commercial businesses.
