Located in bustling downtown Toronto in the city’s financial district, the courtyard and plaza at the Richmond-Adelaide Centre was in need of refurbishment to attract tenants, visitors, and improve its safety and programming.

Our design focused on a simple palette of silver metal and lush green plantings, providing much-needed seating, while offering flexibility to host building events with a sense of privacy. Called a “beautifully renovated courtyard” by Susan Pigg of the Toronto Star, the focal point of courtyard is a perforated metal wall and canopy by Canadian Artist Jean-Pierre Morin.
