The Schulich School of Business at York University is an internationally-renowned school with a strong architectural identity.

Breaking convention, we opted for a street profile that is heavily planted along the edges of the building, leaving a flexible courtyard space where students can study or relax. Our bold horticultural approach, incorporating tall, sweeping grasses, hedging, and crab apple trees, brings attention to the building and changes the character of the surrounding streetscape to one of dense vegetation with seasonal transitions.
