Posted December 8, 2025
Congratulations to Giannone Petricone Associates, Volta Estate, and the entire project team on receiving a Canadian Architect Award of Excellence for Volta Estate Winery!
Volta Estate is a family-owned winery in Prince Edward County, Ontario, where Old World winemaking traditions meet the region’s distinct New World terroir. Designed by Giannone Petricone Associates, the production and hospitality facility draws from local agrarian architecture while prioritizing sustainability, carbon neutrality, and cohesion with the surrounding landscape.
JRS is proud to serve as the project’s landscape architect, leveraging the site’s unique terrain, limestone-rich soils and agrarian history to support a winemaking process grounded in the landscape’s quiet beauty and charm.
