Matt Perotto to talk on Parametric Computation and AI in Landscape Architecture at LABash

Join Senior Associate, Matt Perotto, and BLA Program Coordinator & Assistant Professor, Afshin Ashari, for their talk on March 15, 2025 at the 2025 LABash Conference at the University of Guelph.

In “Owning Computation (in Landscape Architecture) Before it Owns You!”, Matt and Afshin will talk about how Parametric Computation and Artificial Intelligence are increasingly revolutionizing the discipline, offering landscape architects renewed agency in playing a lead role in addressing sustainability and climate change in the urban realm. Through academic and professional project case studies, they’ll talk about how these tools are expanding potentials for design ideas, efficient workflows, coordination with project teams, and effective communication with larger audiences.
