On March 6, 2025, JRS Senior Associate Rob McIntosh presented “Landscape Architecture: Addressing the Climate & Housing Crisis,” an online talk to second-year Urban Design students at Fanshawe College.
Rob shared insights into a day in the life of a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer, highlighting how we implement Climate Positive Design in our projects and how we unlock the potential of underused urban sites at Janet Rosenberg & Studio, including in our projects with Kindred Works and the Cloverdale Mall Redevelopment with QuadReal Property Group.
“It was inspiring to hear about the projects and topics that the students are exploring and the innovative design competition that they are taking part in, proposing affordable housing on vacant city-owned lots in London,” said Rob.
Thank you, Fanshawe, for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share ideas!
