Public Survey: New Park at 15 Delisle Ave.

A new park is coming to 15 Delisle Avenue in Toronto’s Deer Park neighbourhood near Yonge and St. Clair! Two park concepts were presented at a Public Meeting held by the City of Toronto on June 26.

Design Option A: “Unearthing History” celebrates the site’s geological history by incorporating vertical and stepped surfaces to accommodate the uneven terrain. Multiple seating options are provided near a gentle sloping lawn and lushly planted areas.

Design Option B: “Deer Park” is centred around an ecological history walk that allows visitors to experience three distinct eras of the site’s evolution: shoreline, meadowlands, and forest. Branching pathways provide intimate seating nooks and program zones within distinctive planting reflecting the site’s history.

An online survey is collecting feedback on the concepts until July 16, 2024. Learn more about the project and share your feedback!
